Gain a solid understanding of industrial laser welding and learn how to apply proven methods to solve real-world problems. This practical course will help you improve your laser welding operations, increase your process efficiency, and achieve high-quality, consistent laser welded assemblies and parts.

Continuing from Laser Welding: Mastering the Technology, you will learn about laser weld defects, how to identify them, their root causes, and suggest proven troubleshooting techniques and methods for overcoming them.



During this course, you will:   

  • Identify laser weld defects
  • Discover the root causes for laser weld defects
  • Examine troubleshooting techniques
  • Suggest and implement techniques to reduce/eliminate defects
  • Investigate cosmetic enhancements
  • Perform micrograph cross-section measurements with a digital microscope
  • Implement Statistical Process Control for your laser welding process
