Pumps and Process Piping

13 hours

This course covers the equipment and procedures used to move fluids – liquids and gases – through an industrial process environment. This course covers the basic concepts and practical methods necessary to design, specify, evaluate, and troubleshoot industrial pump and process piping systems.

During this course, you will:

  • Learn the background and information necessary to efficiently move fluids through industrial processes
  • Review industrial pump and process piping systems, including piping codes, materials of construction, valves, and seals
  • Learn how to troubleshoot your existing pump and process piping systems
  • Assess your current process design to improve performance, safety, and operation
  • Understand how to assess the proper sizing of your flows, calculate pressure drops, and select the right material throughout your processes for maximum compatibility
