This course explores the basic concepts and practical methods to evaluate powder processing equipment, processes, and procedures. The participant will learn how to select blending equipment based on powder properties and process objectives.

During this course, you will:

  • Learn how to effectively use, evaluate, and optimize your powder processing equipment
  • Explore the combined use of mixing and agglomeration processes
  • Address the capabilities and limitations of different types of blending and mixing equipment
  • Understand the influence of powder and particle properties on handling characteristics
  • Examine the use of agglomeration in processing equipment to stabilize well-mixed powders
